Good luck to everyone competing in the opening North of England Track and Field meeting tomorrow on our home track. Team manager Giles Bennett has done a brilliant job in getting the team sheet almost full.

However, we also need some more help with hosting the fixture. If you can spare a couple of hours to help moving hurdles, help in the clubhouse or support the officials you will make a real difference.

The first field events (hammer and pole vault) start at 11.30 am and the first track event (400m hurdles) starts at 1.00 pm. The final event (4 x 400m) is at 5.00 pm - so any assistance between these times will be really gratefully received.

Bury just avoided relegation last season - we can push for promotion this year!

Next Saturday Bury hosts the Northern League Track and Field fixture and we need as many athletes, officials and volunteers as possible to support the club and make the fixture a success.
